Pasadena Kodokan Judo

Judo, or "The Way of Gentleness" is a form of self-defense that makes use of the principles of leverage, balance, movement and making use of the opponent's strength. It uses the opponent's power and weight to work against him and thereby to subdue him. The Pasadena Kodokan Judo meets at the Pasadena Japanese Cultural Institute twice a week. Practice sessions: Saturday afternoons from 3:30 - 5:00 pm and Monday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30pm.
