Southern California Kyudo Renmei

Kyudo literally means, "The Way of the Bow (and Arrow)". As with all martial arts, it is essentially a Way of mental discipline, and ultimately, spiritual enlightenment. Basing itself on the spirit and teaching of Zen Buddhism, Kyudo teachers its students to empty himself/herslelf of all attached impulses and thoughts, and be in the absolute now..The ultimate hope is that the student will be able to manifest that king of pure being and act not only in the practice hall, but in life itself. The Pasdena Kyudo group practices on Saturday afternoons from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and Saturday evenings from 7:00 - 10:00 PM.
