Childcare Center to Open in Little Tokyo
A childcare center run by the nonprofit International Institute will open September
10th at Casa Heiwa, located at 231 E. Third St. Although most parents will need to
meet certain income guidelines, there will be some slots for higher income parents.
The center will accept pre-school children between the ages of 2 and 5. The morning
classes will be from 8 am to 11 am and the afternoon classes will be from 12 noon
