BID UPDATE
The Little Tokyo Business Improvement District (BID) Committee presented a Draft BID to the Little Tokyo Business Association (LTBA), Little Tokyo Public Safety Association (LTPSA), the Little Tokyo Community Development Advisory Committee (LTCDAC), and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce (JCC).
The Committee is now waiting for the organizations to decide whether they will support the concept of a BID for Little Tokyo.
In June, LTCDAC voted unanimously to support the concept of a BID for Little Tokyo.
In August, the LTPSA also voted to endorse the concept of a BID for Little Tokyo.
The BID is still in the draft stage, and the Committee is seeking only the endorsement of the concept of a BID for Little Tokyo.
The outcome of the votes will determine whether or not the Committee should continue to proceed any further with its works to establish a BID in the Little Tokyo area.
